World Foundry Organization organized Technical Forum at Dusseldorf, Germany during GIFA Fair on Thursday 18th June'15 in Hall 13 of the Messe Centre. The keynote speaker to the event was Mr. Jorge Fesch, Chairman & CEO of Sakthi Portugal S.A. on 'The foundry of the future-advanced managing and manufacturing concepts for a global competitive cast iron plant'. It was a proud moment to all Indians that Sakthi Group Portugal, Portuguese company 100% owned by Sakthi India, since 2007, has been successful foundry in India.

The forum started with the opening address by Mr. Vinod Kapur, President-WFO & Executive Chairman of Gargi HA. Mr. Kapur welcomed the delegates to the Technical Forum and explained about the WFO bi-annual event highlighting practical developments in foundries and the supporting supply industry. He has also enlightened of the importance of networking and WFO's role to play in this globally important challenge. The program was well attended by large number of delegates from worldwide.

The program was extremely successful and appreciated by all the participants. During the event, on behalf of WFO & IIF, Mr. Vinod Kapur presented a memento to Mr. Friedrich Georg Kehrer, Director, Messe Dusseldorf, for his contribution to the Foundry Industry worldwide.
