In January, Dr. Carsten Kuhlgatz accompanied a business delegation directed by Walter Hirche, Minister for Economics, Labour and Transport of Lower Saxony. On the occasion of a stopover in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on January 29th, some representatives of the Ministry and of Lower Saxony’s industry visited the new production plant of Gargi HA Emirates situated in the free zone of Fujairah, one emirate of the United Arab Emirates.

The business delegation got impressive information about the production of high-quality slurry feeders which are mainly supplied to Quality Castings Ltd., a manufacturer of high-quality wear and heat resistant castings

This company is also situated in the free zone of Fujairah. Gargi HA Emirates is a subsidiary of Gargi HA India. In order to further extend their business, they want to build a new resin plant in Fujairah, which is planned to be finished by the end of February 2007.

In a very friendly meeting, the business delegation met the Shek Sharif Habib Al Awadhi, the General Director of the Government of Fujairah Free Zone personally.All participants seized the opportunity to exchange information and to learn more about each other.
